Policies & Procedures

The Quilts of Valor Foundation Policies & Procedures Manual sets forth our standards. It explains our legal responsibilities, responsibilities to the Foundation and to our quilt awardees.

The first section contains our Policies. It contains our mission statement, core values, the structure of the Foundation and those established for the pursuit of our mission. The second section contains our Procedures. It explains methods we use to pursue our mission. The Appendices contains supplemental information and documents.

The Foundation’s leadership consists of a Board of Directors, Executive Staff and State Coordinators. There are salaried members of the Executive Staff, all others are unpaid volunteers. The Foundation expects its leadership staff, member group leaders and individual members to adhere to the standards described in this manual. All individuals involved in the work of the Foundation are expected to familiarize themselves with the contents of this manual.
